From humble beginnings, George Adamson operated Ontario Growth Chamber Service from 1993-1996, as he saw the need for chamber maintenance, new installations and retrofits. This was run as a sole proprietorship during that time.

Subsequently, Ontario Scientific Inc was incorporated in April 1996 with its headquarters in Kitchener, Ontario.

Ontario Scientific Inc has been providing reliable and proven customer service and chamber expertise, so much so, as to be invited to work on chambers internationally at sites such as:

• Finland: University of Helsinki
• United States: South Dakota State University

• Germany: Gothenburg University
• United States: Boyce Thompson Institute

Over the years we have supported various organizations such as:

North Central Extension & Research Activity–101 (NCERA-101)

Association of Education and Research Greenhouse Curators (AERGC)

In 2023 Ontario Scientific moved its head office to Toronto, Ontario. George Adamson started his retirement all the while training the next generation of technicians in an ever-changing growth chamber environment landscape.
